Repairing Damaged Muscles with doTERRA Essential Oils

Have you sprained, strained, damaged or torn a muscle, ligament or tendon recently? It can be very painful and the healing process is quite tedious.

Here are a few tips on speeding up the process for Muscle, Tendon, Cartilage and Tissue Healing and repair with essential oils.

There are quite a few options, we are just naming a few—so if you feel like you need a few more options let us know.

Deep Blue: helps with pain, inflammation and healing tissues

Lemongrass: is for healing ligaments, tendons, and cartilage, it helps with regenerating connective tissue, circulation, repairing ligaments, tissue regeneration, muscles and bones

Marjoram: is for muscles, spasms, rheumatism, sprains, stiff joints, aches, neuralgia, pain, tension—good for muscles and bones

AromaTouch: is great for pain, inflammation, spasms, circulation and healing.

PastTense: Anti-inflammatory, helps relieve muscle and bone pain, anti-spasmodic, circulatory stimulant, alleviates aches, pains and stiffness, increases blood flow –muscles and bones

Wintergreen: helps with inflammation, rheumatism, muscular pain, craps, arthritis, tendonitis, and hypertension. It is know for its ability to alleviate bone pain. (it has a cortisone like action due to the high content of methyl salicylate)

How to Apply: Rub 3-5 drops on effected area, you can do one single oil or combine multiple oils—or even all if you want to.
You can add in a carrier oil if you would like to help spread the oil over a larger space.
***You can also use a hot/ cool moist towel to help drive the oils in, or a heat pack—or cold pack—depending on your injury.
